Our classrooms are equipped with instruments and other ways for children to explore and express rhythm and song. Our CD collection includes popular children's songs, classical music, modern pop, show tunes, instrumental selections, Hebrew and holiday music. Nursery and Junior Kindergarten classes often put on parades using rhythm instruments, and marching throughout the school. An Early Childhood music specialist visits all of the classrooms every week to engage children in music, songs, and activities. Children learn several songs during the year, and perform on stage at our Thanksgiving Feast, at the annual Hanukkah Music Festival, and during the spring music assembly.
