Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School Annual Campaign

The Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School Annual Campaign is the cornerstone of the Day School's development activities. Contributions to the Annual Campaign are the primary means of bridging the gap between tuition revenue and the school's actual operating costs. There is currently a 20% shortfall between tuition revenue and actual operating cost. The Annual Campaign raises unrestricted dollars for the Day School, supporting library acquisitions, curriculum enhancements, technological improvements and many other day-to-day activities that make the Day School an engaging and interactive learning laboratory for our students.

Campaign for Our Future

After being "landlocked" for over 50 years, the Day School had the opportunity to purchase the 45,000 sq. ft. property immeditately adjacent to our campus in 2004. We established a fundraising goal of $8.5 million to cover the financing of the land as well as its continued maintenance. Due to the incredible generosity of the Day School community, we were able to turn this dream into a reality - our Field of Dreams. The former parking lot has now been transformed into much-needed outdoor play space for our students. However, we have not yet met our goal completely. In order to reach the goal by the December 31, 2007 deadline, we still need to raise the necessary funds.

The majority of gifts to the Day School comes in the form of cash or checks. All checks should be payable to Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School.

The Day School accepts MasterCard and Visa for contributions.

Securities/Appreciated Stock

You can always transfer stock to the Day School as a gift. If you own securities that have a long term gain, you may be able to take their full fair market value as a charitable deduction on your income taxes. Please call the Development Office for instructions on how to transfer securities.

Tribute cards offer a thoughtful way to honor a simcha - bar/bat mitzvah, birthday, anniversary and graduation - or to send condolences to those who have lost a loved one. A donation of $18 or more is recommended. Please call the Development Office if you would like to send a tribute card.
